Short description

Home Majori in Jurmala, a resort town in Latvia, which is considered the largest holiday centre on the shore of the Gulf of Riga. The population of about 50 thousand inhabitants. Located at a distance of 25 km from the centre of Riga.

The modern city has developed from a series of resort (historically, fishing) villages eventually merged together. Occupies the territory of the Riga seaside, which stretches for 32 km in length and 3 km in width between the Gulf of Riga and the river Lielupe.
